Blueprint Tokyo Go Big and Bright on Epic Album Neon Circuits and the Mission of Hope
Blueprint Tokyo have been on my radar for a while now. Based in Oklahoma City, the band has slowly been building up to the release of their highly anticipated debut album. Well, my friends, the wait is officially over! Please allow me to introduce you to Neon Circuits and the Mission of Hope.
A sixteen-track epic that superbly showcases the outfit's signature blend of bold indie synth rock, Neon Circuits truly is Blueprint Tokyo in a nutshell. Energetic, loud, and utterly infectious, it channels the raw energy of a live show while simultaneously never losing the intimacy of a headphone listen.
"This album reflects where we are as a band - bigger, bolder, and more dynamic than ever before," says the act. And they're spot on! There's an undeniable depth and density to these tunes - almost as if they've turned up the volume of their very own identity.
From the anthemic opener Say Anything to the record's inventive and brass-filled closing Sailor Girl, Neon Circuits is a collection of songs whose full effect lands best when you surrender to the whole thing. A sonic journey that rewards immersion over dissection. Pure class.
