Fierce Friend Unleashes Fuzzed-Out Energy on New Single Blood Red Hills

Introducing the world to his forthcoming album, Blood Red Hills is the choppy, high-energy, and hugely catchy new single from Brighton-based singer/songwriter Alan Grice, AKA Fierce Friend. A woozy and fuzzed-out gem that's here for a good time and not a long one, Alan's new track wastes no time making an impression, bursting with ragged charm and an intensity that's just irresistible.

While showcasing a faster, heavier sound compared to much of his previous work, Blood Red Hills still maintains that bright and melodic shimmer that has always lived within Alan. Having contributed his talents to cult legends like The Electric Soft Parade and Foxes!, Alan now uses Fierce Friend to channel those experiences into something sleek and unmistakably his own.

As a long-standing figure in Brighton's art-pop underground, Alan Grice trusts his years of know-how to craft music that's both accessible and highly inventive. An explorer of textures and atmospheres rather than tidy structures, he's an artist guided by the music, and allows it to take him wherever it naturally wants to go.

Blood Red Hills & The Uncanny Valley is scheduled for release in October, and it's a record I'm very much looking forward to spending time with!
