Get Lost in the Psychedelic Noise of Psych-O-Positive's New Single Stag of Seven Tines

New Jersey-based outfit Psych-O-Positive describes their sound as "psychedelic cave punk," and after just one listen to Stag of Seven Tines, it's a tag that makes complete sense. A rowdy and noisy shot of adrenaline, the band's latest single reimagines an ancient Druidic chant through a haze of heavy riffs and blistering sonic chaos. It's potent stuff - but honestly, it’s so refreshing to hear an act just lay into a track with zero filter.

Taking listeners on a dark, hypnotic ride, Stag of Seven Tines features multiple guitars, a sitar, and even a theremin - just for good measure. In lesser hands, this would most likely be a recipe for disaster, but for this five-piece, the chaos never overwhelms the groove.

Judy Ann Nock handles vocal duties on Stag of Seven Tines, and if that name sounds familiar, it's because she also fronts St. Divine, a group we have tremendous respect for around these parts!

Alongside Judy are Debby Schwartz, Andrew Gilchrist, Chuck Tumulty, and Louie Zhelesnik, who complete the Psych-O-Positive crew. I'm telling you, they're an extremely talented bunch, so don't be surprised if they start making some serious waves over the next few months!
