New Single Torn Marks a Fierce and Raw New Chapter for Cries of Redemption

It was only last month that I was waxing lyrical about Cries of Redemption, the Georgia-based project led by guitarist and songwriter Ed Silva. Ed had teamed up with Martina Questa, a force within Argentina’s gothic metal world, to revisit one of his earlier tracks - with seriously compelling results

This time round, Ed has proudly welcomed back guitarist Billy "Sriracha" Babcock after an eleven-year hiatus, as well as professional session vocalist Maria Duque. Teaming up, the trio set about concocting a short, sharp, and hard-hitting piece of modern rock that's definitely more a shot of adrenaline than something you ease your way into.

Titled Torn and described as a "100% organic rock statement," Ed's latest release is a raw and thunderous one. It's a showcase of Cries of Redemption's musical DNA, and it's the type of tune you get the feeling will be remembered still in years to come.

Ed Silva was recently inducted into the TJPL Class of 2026. He's the first indie artist from Georgia to receive such an honour, and was delighted to further induct Billy, Denisse Ferrara, and Young Chiara as honorary members for their dedication to the Cries of Redemption vision.

Getting better and better with each release, Cries of Redemption is a project you don't want to be missing out on!
