Rumour Den Pair Social Commentary With Powerful Rock on New Tune All In This Together

All In This Together is the gritty and powerful new single courtesy of Rumour Den, a Belfast-based duo made up of long-time writing partners AJ Gilmore and Steve Simms. Serving as the pair's third official single, it's a tune that sees Rumour Den expand their sonic horizons, pushing a rawer, more direct alternative rock sound. 

Fuelled by full-blooded guitars and stirring vocals, All In This Together favours heart over polish - and that's what gives the track its soul. Every inch of the song carries the warmth and spontaneity of a live performance, and although that was the duo's intention, making it sound this natural is a different story altogether. 

Posing the question of whether we are all truly in this together, Rumour Den's latest release takes an unflinching look at an increasingly divided world. A world on the brink…where too many answers seem to end with authoritarianism. 

A showcase of the pair's heartfelt songwriting and deeply thoughtful storytelling, All In This Together is fast becoming one of my favourite tunes of the year. And I'm also developing quite a soft spot for its two predecessors. Needless to say, I can't wait to hear where Rumour Den go next!
