Self Soothe is Tony Frissore’s Lo-Fi Soundtrack for Modern Mindfulness

This year, I've gotten very into the whole lo-fi, chill hop vibe. There's just something so comforting about that warm and cosy blend of downtempo textures and sounds.

With that in mind, I'd like to introduce you to Self Soothe, the brand new single from Cleveland-based musician and producer Tony Frissore. A tune concocted to help listeners slow down, breathe deeply, and find a moment of stillness, Self Soothe is the perfect antidote to the chaos of modern life.

Through soft percussion and dreamy, ambient layers, Tony's latest release is a sonically guided journey towards calming the body and mind. Grounded in an eighty BPM rhythm specifically designed to support steady breathing patterns, the artist says he "wanted to create something that doesn't just sound relaxing, but actively helps people regulate their breathing."

Naturally, in today's fast-paced and relentless world, wellness-focused listening is on the rise. Increasingly, people are turning to lo-fi music not just for relaxation, but as a tool for meditation and emotional regulation.

In my humble opinion, Tony Frissore is tapping into something pretty special. Self Soothe isn't just a chilled piece of music. There's so much more to it. And once you've experienced it, you understand its importance.
