Soul-Bearing and Spellbinding: LTB Returns with Further Than A Memory

My first encounter with Maryland-based up-and-coming pop star Logan Barnhill came at the end of last month. Performing under the moniker LTB, he'd just delivered one of the smoothest tunes I'd heard in some time, Butterflies. Transporting me to a state of blissful surrender, I instantly fell in love with the track, and have been waiting to hear from Logan again ever since. Thankfully, he didn't make me wait long!

Further Than A Memory is the artist's brand new offering, and once again, he's brought the goods. Delivering more soulful R&B sounds intertwined with delicate and airy atmospheric pop, the mesmerising blend of textures and tones wraps around you like a warm sonic blanket. Pure perfection.

Reflecting on the meaning behind his latest release, Logan says it's a song "about breaking the silence after everything falls apart…and wrestling with doubt, regret, and the longing for closure that may never come".

Further Than A Memory is another stellar example of LTB's ability to turn raw emotion into deeply impactful and resonant music. And that's why I vibe with his work. It's honest and introspective, inviting the listener to break free from the cookie-cutter and formulaic sounds of the mainstream.
