Til House Lights Delivers Non-Stop Pop-Punk Brilliance From Get the Net
Til House Lights is the blistering new album from New Jersey-based pop-punk trio Get the Net - a twelve-track explosion of crunchy guitars, high-octane energy, and raw emotion. Released less than a week ago, it's a record I've spent quite some time with over the last few days, and I really think it's one of those albums that truly comes into its own the more time you spend with it.
Life Escape sets the tone through gritty riffs and a relentless drive that pulls you straight into the band's sonic universe. Misunderstood then steps up to the plate and delivers a similarly forceful, potent, and emotionally charged statement.
Not the Way is an instant shot of adrenaline, maintaining the record's exhilarating pace, before Palamino storms in with zero intention of taking its foot off the accelerator.
Look, I won't lie, it's an intense journey - but for me, that's precisely what makes it so rewarding.
Other personal favourites from the album include Time, Lost in Tokyo, and the record's lead single, Tijuana. That said, given the work that Ryan Raichilson, Brian O'Halloran, and Kyle Burnett have put into Til House Lights, I'd be doing them a disservice by trying to reduce it to a handful of highlights. It's pure entertainment from beginning to end!
