Breathe Deep: Jaivy’s The Garden Invites You to Pause and Reflect

Released in April last year, The Garden is unquestionably one of the most soothing and immersive pieces of music I've heard all year. Courtesy of Dutch composer Dylan Jaivy Blume, better known simply as Jaivy, the beautifully reflective instrumental slips between jazz flourishes and Bossa nova’s sun-kissed ease. Complete with mellifluous bird samples recorded outside the artist's apartment, The Garden is essentially the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Soaked in a good amount of reverb and delay, Jaivy creates the feeling of being outside - amongst the birds and the trees, as you gently watch people go by. A park bench daydream, if you will.

As for the story behind The Garden, the musician says that it's about "a place where you can come to rest and enjoy nature." An invitation to relax and unwind, it's a tune that reminds us to take a step back, breathe, and reflect.

If The Garden is up your alley, Jaivy has already delivered four new singles since. And, from a quick listen, they are more than worthy of your time and attention! Superb stuff!
