I've been fortunate enough to cover a decent amount of For You Brother's most recent work, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that another release is never far around the corner. Last month, the South Carolina-based outfit unleashed Make It Rain on Them, a fourteen-track album that represents a six-year journey of songwriting, perseverance, faith, and personal growth. Track eleven on said record is a wonderfully anthemic and hard-hitting tune called AWAY, and I am honoured to share it with you today!

Exploring, in its creator's words, "the spiritual dimension of human fallibility,"AWAY pairs its weighty subject matter with towering guitars, huge hooks, and enough energy to fill an arena. Clocking in at just over five minutes, the band gives itself time to let the song unfold naturally, develop at its own pace, and make every crescendo hit that much harder. 

Recorded at Executive Mansion Records, AWAY is beautifully polished and pieced together. You can hear the blood, sweat, and tears that went into this one - and it's just impossible not to appreciate the kind of care For You Brother bring to their craft.
