Daisy Howard’s Latest Single Saved Reveals Her Edgier and Rockier Side

Saved is the first glimpse into Daisy Howard's forthcoming album, a record the singer/songwriter has been working on in Thailand for two years. Originally from the UK, Daisy found herself in Thailand during the pandemic. Planning to be there for only a short while, she ended up staying for two years, moving to Mexico, and then returning.

The city of Chiang Mai was calling her name, and Daisy, in turn, felt she couldn't ignore its pull. She credits moving north with reshaping her life, and I'm proud to share the fruits of that journey with you today.

Written and recorded by the artist, Saved is a bold and rocky little offering. Pop-tinged, undoubtedly, but there's a raw undercurrent throughout that adds just the right amount of grit.

A guitar-driven reflection on a relationship where Daisy was cast as both caretaker and scapegoat, Saved is a courageous and unflinching piece of music. She's clearly a musician who's unafraid to explore and share the messier side of her life, and at the end of the day, isn't that where true art lies?

A tune that gets better with every listen, Daisy Howard's Saved is a hugely exciting prelude to her new album. And, with a full run of singles on the way, it feels like this is just the opening spark.
