Dizzy Panda Slip Into the Shadows with Hypnotic New Single Chicago Pockets

Dizzy Panda came bouncing into my world last year with the release of Pentapolis, a twelve-track record that saw the Netherlands-based duo teaming up with Britpop act The Perics. It was an album that didn't just blend genres and styles…it transcended them, and I happily lost myself in the intricate sonic landscapes of its creators.

Having kept a close eye (and ear) on the pair ever since, today I am delighted to introduce you to Chicago Pockets, Dizzy Panda's latest piece of hypnotic and innovative genius. Let's dive in, shall we?

Linking up with Slaakmut, AKA Sam Smooth, Dizzy Panda's new single is a short and sweet tribute to the raw soul of house music. With a crawling beat and a groove that sucks you straight in, Chicago Pockets oozes late night allure, balancing restraint and rhythm with irresistible ease. "Chicago Pockets is a track built for the late hours, the forgotten corners, and the ones who don't fit neatly into anyone's idea of cool," says the duo.

Offering up yet another showcase of their unique style and deep-rooted musical curiosity, Dizzy Panda continue to impress with each new release. Every time I see they've unleashed a track, I get a little thrill in my chest, and at the end of the day, isn't that what it's all about?
