Punchy, Playful, and Packed with Riffs - Centrifuge’s Debut EP Daydreams & Breakdowns Is a Blast

Apart from being, hands down, one of the best-titled EPs ever, Daydreams & Breakdowns is also a pretty smashing five-track offering courtesy of an up-and-coming German outfit called Centrifuge. Delivering a collection of energetic and retro-infused tunes dripping with slick guitar riffs and anthemic vocals, the band's debut EP bursts down the doors with swagger and theatrical flair.

It's All Gone gets proceedings underway in an upbeat and infectious fashion. A little punky…a little playful…it's a jangly and wholehearted introduction to Centrifuge's sound.

The Spell then steps up to the plate with a blistering intensity, tearing through anything that stands in its way with ferocity and panache.

The EP's key single, You Are Yesterday, is the next song to take the stage, and listeners are now treated to a more laid-back and easy-going side to the act, with Someone Who Loves Me following in a similar vein.

Daydream Lover rounds off Daydreams & Breakdowns, and it's a tune I shall be leaving you to discover for yourself. What I will say, however, is that Centrifuge's debut EP is an absolute stunner from start to finish, and I can't wait to hear from them again!
