Eight Tracks of Light: Shape your Galaxy Is Ulrich Jannert's Gentle Push Towards Joy

If there was ever an album made to lift spirits and remind us all to lean into positivity, I believe this is the soundtrack we’ve been waiting for. Shape your Galaxy is the latest offering from Malmö-based singer/songwriter, composer, and producer Ulrich Jannert, an artist we've already had the pleasure of reviewing once this year.

Through his soulful blend of easy listening and genre-blending tunes, Ulrich is on a mission to concoct melodies that gently push the listener toward embracing joy, no matter the noise around us.

The record's title track also serves as its opener and beautifully sets the scene for the remaining seven songs. Laid back and full of optimism, it sensitively leads into another heartwarming piece of music, this time in the form of an upbeat and encouraging ballad called Follow the compass in your soul.

Inner COMPASS is a stirring little number that leaves the bells and whistles at the door, favouring an organic and stripped-down sincerity that hits hard, and Heaven's Door maintains that warm and moving energy with a timeless grace.

The remaining four tunes are yours and yours alone to discover. Linger along the shorelines or dive straight in. The choice is yours. But, you know my recommendation!
