Cards on the table…The New York-based avant-electro project Energy Whores and I go way back. 2023 to be exact! Founded by Carrie Schoenfeld and Attilio Valenti, the pair built a strong reputation for their genre-defying sound, fusing electronic production with elements of rock and sharp political commentary.

Fast-forward to today, and Carrie and Attilio continue to evolve their project, recently welcoming Mexican-born producer and DJ Grant (NYC) into the fold, and taking a bold step forward with a new single called Fade To Gray. Let's explore, shall we?

A slow-burning and hypnotic piece of music, Energy Whores' latest offering runs on pulsing rhythms and rich layers of synth. Concocting an almost trance-like atmosphere, the outfit sets about exploring the fragile nature of perception - a perfect theme for the warm and dreamy sonic backdrop.
