Haus of Sound Turn Up the Heat with Fiery New Single Mirage
Seattle-based rockers Haus of Sound have announced themselves with a sonic boom this year thanks to three absolutely killer singles. Their debut, Anxiety, brought a ska-punk vibe to the party, before the darker, more cinematic sounds of Pain in my Eyes came into play.
Today, it's the outfit's brand new tune, Mirage, that takes centre stage, and one I'm honoured to introduce you to.
Marking yet another bold evolution in the band's creative trajectory, Mirage is a brooding and synth-heavy track that finds its inspiration in acts like Evanescence and Linkin Park. The vocal interplay between Gabrielle Burton and Dex Morgenstern is magnetic and instinctive, a call-and-response masterclass that pulls you in and doesn’t let go.
Exploring themes of disillusionment, identity, and inner conflict, Haus of Sound's latest offering is yet another glimpse of a larger tale at hand, as the outfit journeys towards the release of their debut album. Titled Campfire Stories, listeners can expect a dynamic blend of electronic rock, theatrical punk, and powerful, female-led vocals.
Given the quality of their first three singles, all signs point to a record that could easily set the scene alight!
