Highroad No. 28 Forge a Darkly Atmospheric Path on Latest Single C.Esp

Having had the pleasure of falling in love with and reviewing Highroad No. 28's previous two singles, I am now honoured to introduce you to C.Esp, the Australian outfit's latest offering. A tune that continues the journey towards the band's upcoming third album, C.Esp delivers more of that deliciously dark and melodic alternative rock that fans of Ache and Thistroubledsoul will instantly resonate with.

Built on atmosphere and emotional weight, the blend of raw vocals and shadowy melodic undercurrents is intoxicating. A track that sees frontman Andrew JC handling all instruments and vocals, it captures the sound of a songwriter navigating their way to find something resembling peace.

Diving deep into themes of inner conflict and personal salvation, C.Esp highlights Highroad No. 28's more introspective and mature sound - and it's a sound I'm increasingly finding almost impossible to ignore.

An act returning after a seventeen-year hiatus is not something you witness every day. And it's even more rare to catch a band come back after so long and deliver music this assured.

The Will to Endure, the outfit's third album, is scheduled for release very soon. Personally, it can't come soon enough!
