Invisible Finds Energy Whores Unlocking Four Different Sides of One Song

Few artists can prick up my ears quite like Energy Whores whenever they release something new. Having followed the New York-based electro project founded by Carrie Schoenfeld and Attilio Valenti for years, it's been a real treat to witness the duo's bold and inventive sonic evolution.

The pair have kept themselves busy in 2026, beginning with a smashing ten-track album called Arsenal of Democracy. Then came Fade To Gray ) and Planet B, and they've wasted no time following those up with Invisible, a four-track EP that takes the same song in four very different directions.

With each composition revealing a different emotional dimension, Invisible offers a fascinating take on what a song can actually be. Sure, the lyrics and melodic core remain, but everything around them completely changes - the instrumentation, the production, the atmosphere, everything!

"The four versions came from realizing that there wasn't just one emotional way to tell that story," explains Carrie. "The synth pop, lo-fi, cinematic, and indie versions are the same song, but each one sees invisibility through a different lens."

Teaming up once again with Grant (NYC), Energy Whores continue to showcase why they're one of the most exciting acts around. You never know what's around the corner. And that's half the fun!
