Hailing from Atlanta, Pterocat are a five-piece outfit known for their unique and immersive blend of Brazilian-inspired rhythms and dreamy, shoegaze-infused indie pop. Sure, their releases are few and far between, but I believe what we have here is a classic case of quality over quantity. No judgement, both within the band and for anyone who listens; Anti is a tune that embraces lush textures and a laid-back elegance, making everything feel just so organic and unhurried and natural.
