About a year ago, a genre-blending pop artist named Shelita entered my sonic universe. The tune that set things in motion was a soulful, mystical little number called I’m So In Love With You. And then came the weightless, cinematic genius of Sailors. Truthfully, I didn’t need much convincing after that.

Shelita released her Into The Depths EP at the beginning of this year - a record more than worthy of your time. For today's purposes, however, it's her new single Open To You that I am honoured to share with you. 

Letting her guard down with a silky smooth and sensual offering, Shelita showcases her knack for crafting laidback, R&B-infused pop gems. Playful, romantic, and utterly intoxicating, it's a song with a beautifully natural and organic feel.

With the musician's warm, intimate vocals leading the way, Open To You explores the balance between independence and the desire to let someone in. "Opening yourself to someone takes courage," says Shelita. "There's a point where you stop trying to control where love is going and allow yourself to experience it."
