Last month, I stumbled upon a deliciously dreamy little tune called Mess With Me. Courtesy of a Fort Lauderdale-based singer/songwriter and producer known as Silky Vibe, the ethereal R&B offering stood out for its creative production and silky-smooth vocals. 

Hoping it wouldn't be too long to hear from the artist again, it turns out Silky Vibe has been keeping himself rather busy - and now returns with a tightly crafted five-track EP titled Moody. Described by the musician as "the aftermath of the reflection on a bad break-up," it's a genre-bending and immersive record that just hits all the right spots. Let's dive in, shall we?

Just Say That is the EP's opener, and it's an airy and spacious song that eases the listener into Silky Vibe's atmospheric soundscape before the album's title track steps up to the plate. Rich and soulful, the trap anthem features rolling hi-hats, a sonorous bass line, and even an electric guitar solo to sweeten the deal.

Wontcha is next up and slides in with a lush and velvety vibe. It's the kind of tune that melts out of your speakers - and leads you gently into the aforementioned gem, Mess With Me.
