Imagery of backyard BBQs, family gatherings, firework displays, and neighbours celebrating side by side all form the backbone of a song that leans into warmth, nostalgia, and shared experience. 

While planning for the tune's release, Terry Breakman decided that the project needed to serve a purpose beyond entertainment, and that's where Homes For Our Troops entered the fray. An incredible non-profit that builds custom-made homes for post 9/11 veterans, HFOT is where Terry has pledged 100% of the track's proceeds.

"As we gather with family and friends to celebrate Independence Day, it's important to remember the men and women who helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy," says Terry, so eloquently. "If this song can help raise awareness and support for veterans who have sacrificed so much, then it will have accomplished something far more meaningful than simply entertaining people."
