Tom Minor is Fired Up and Unapologetically Alive on New Single Change It!

By this stage, if you're not a fan of London-based singer/songwriter Tom Minor, there may be no hope for you. Granted, I've been fortunate enough to cover almost all of his recent work, but that's largely because his songwriting simply demands repeat visits.

Change It! is Tom's brand new offering, released on Boxing Day last year. A retro and soul-infused indie rock number, it's a hugely infectious and upbeat little tune that serves as a call to arms for anyone who feels they haven't yet reached their full potential. Holding onto the hope that the future has better things in store, Change It! is a burst of sonic optimism and encouragement.

Just like Next Stop Brixton, Tom has once again teamed up with Johnny Dalston (guitar) and producer Teaboy Palmer to concoct his latest single. It's a creative alliance that's proving to be extremely fruitful, bringing with it a certain grit and rebellion to proceedings that's impossible to ignore.

Running out of superlatives to describe the work and art of Tom Minor, all I'll say is this: he is one of the most compelling and reliable voices around. As always, I can't wait to see what he delivers next, and fingers crossed, it's his sophomore album, Ten New Toe-Tappers for Shoplifting & Self-Mutilation.
