Tralalas Unveil Ornament - Their Dark, Intense, and Hugely Intriguing Debut Album

Tralalas is the solo project of Morten Alsinger, a Danish musician known for his previous work in Denmark's electro and punk underground scene. Now turning his sonic attention to a more haunting and intense take on dark electro pop, Morten recently delivered Tralalas' debut album, simply titled Ornament

Alongside a host of other highly gifted musicians, the artist has crafted a nine-track offering that expertly balances minimal analog arrangements with soul-stirring storytelling. And, I'm honoured to introduce it to you today!

Burns begins proceedings and immediately plunges the listener into a hazy and ominous soundscape. At times, it's a little uncomfortable, but throughout, it's entirely intriguing.

Kirch Beach then comes into play, and offers a much softer and more "digestible" listening experience, before the simply beautiful tune, Winter on the Vine, makes its appearance.

Hinterlands then changes course and leads us back down a dark and all-consuming alley of foreboding energy, and eventually gives way to Cph Lake, a song that's another shining example of Morten's versatility.

The remaining four tracks are yours to discover at your own pace. Linger along the shorelines, dip your toes, or dive straight in. The choice is yours. But - you know my recommendation!
