Vilamoura Push Through the Darkness on Crushing and Ferocious New Track Lost

Released just five days ago, Lost is the powerful, intense, and no-holds-barred new single from Texas-based metalcore outfit Vilamoura. A ferocious blend of downtuned riffs, brutal drums, and the band’s signature dual vocals, the raw energy of the track is impossible to ignore. Think I Prevail meets Bad Omens meets Bring Me the Horizon: melodic, crushing, and utterly electrifying.

"This song is about acknowledging the difference between who you wanted to be and who you are, and recognizing how you ended up that way," says vocalist Johnathan Sotomayor. "We want Lost to be a reminder that even through pain, failure, and loss, we're still breathing, and we can still climb back up."

Focused, confident, and showcasing why they're a rising force within the global heavy metal scene, Vilamoura's latest release signals an outfit unafraid to pair vulnerability with crunching heaviness. Nothing is sugar-coated or watered down - all scars are embraced - along with the strength that defines each of us.

Lost will form part of Vilamoura's forthcoming EP, scheduled for release at the end of this month. Promising listeners an expansion on the intensity of the single, it's a record that will no doubt be fearless and uncompromising. That's what we love around these parts, and can't wait to hear it in full!
