Warm and Rustic, Today I Thought of You Marks a Defining Moment for JB Elwood

Regulars around these parts will no doubt already be familiar with JB Elwood, the Texas-based singer/songwriter who is beginning to make a serious name for himself. Having had the honour of featuring all of JB's last four singles, what we've discovered is a heart-on-sleeve storyteller who's unafraid to go where the music takes him - and that's just the kind of artist we truly love!

Today I Thought of You is the musician's brand new offering, and it's been described as his most "powerful and cinematic single to date." Well, upon closer inspection, it's hard to argue against that description.

Anchored by a warm acoustic guitar and brought to life with the addition of a fiddle, a banjo, and a mandolin, JB's latest tune blends rustic charm with rich textures. Rooted in Appalachian tradition yet delivered with modern emotional weight, the track gently captures the innocence of young romance.

"I wanted to tell a story that feels bigger than one lifetime," comments JB on his new release. "This song is a love story through the decades, and the understanding that even when someone is gone, they will always be with you."

Marking a defining moment in JB's songwriting career, Today I Thought of You sets the tone for what promises to be an exciting year ahead. Preparing to unleash a wave of new singles, music videos, and in-studio performances, I just hope the world is ready!
