With In Spirit, Lana Crow Delivers Her Most Ambitious and Introspective Work Yet

British singer/songwriter Lana Crow has come flying out of the gates this year with four new singles - and now - a brand new album. Titled In Spirit, the seven-track offering has been described as Lana's "most introspective and conceptually ambitious project to date." And, after just a few run-throughs, it’s clear that that description is anything but an exaggeration.

Moving through a range of sounds and styles, In Spirit kicks off with a deeply immersive and delicate tune called I Do. Dreamy and ethereal, it's the perfect tone setter, before gently fading out and making way for the rockier, more upbeat sounds of the (sadly) appropriately named Orwellian Times.

No Secret - Remix delivers that classic indie-pop goodness that Lana is increasingly becoming known for, while its successor, So Done, drifts in with lush, cinematic textures. Richly layered and utterly captivating, it's quickly becoming my go-to track on the record.

The original version of Unknow the "Known", What Brings You Back, and the album's title song round out the record beautifully. Each tune has a life and a spirit of its own, only adding to the wonderfully eclectic and thoughtfully curated journey that is Lana Crow's latest release. Simply sublime!
