A Timeless Call for Unity: Josh Jesen Shares Poignant New Single Be Human

Josh Jesen is fast-becoming a familiar face around these parts, and we couldn't be more honoured to have him. In March, he delivered one of my favourite albums of the year in the form of This Is Where We Landed, and he's wasted little time building on that momentum, gifting the world another dose of his signature sonic magic.

Be Human is the Seattle-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist's brand new single, and it's a poignant and timeless piece of music partially inspired by the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown. 

Teaming up with fellow singer/songwriter Hannah Wyatt, the pair set about manufacturing a hauntingly beautiful tune that lingers long after the final note. Rich, intimate, and deeply impassioned, it showcases another side to Josh's ever-evolving artistry.

A plea for the audience to set aside division and find those common ground qualities between us humans, Be Human is a masterful example of songwriting and storytelling. 

It feels as if Jensen has fallen into one of his most creative trenches yet, and I'd advise him to stick around as long as he can, because he's tapping into some sonic gold.
