Antoin Gibson Keeps Us Guessing on Dark and Diverse EP The Rise and Fall of Eternity

Folks, The Rise and Fall of Eternity has dropped, and it's every bit as dark, intense, and intriguing as I’d hoped for. Courtesy of our friend, London-based artist and Circum-Sŏnus founder Antoin Gibson, the five-track EP shifts smoothly between an ambitious array of sounds and styles. From introspective hip-hop and industrial electronics to alternative pop and a haunting, folk-inspired finale, there's a lot of sonic goodness to unpack here.

Introduction to the Unexplained begins proceedings: potent, in-your-face, and as personal as it gets, Antoin lays all her cards on the table from the very first second.

Then comes Pandora's Paradox, an eerie, hypnotising, and spacious offering aptly described by its creator as "introducing questions of uncertainty and consequence."

Dystopian Empress is a haunting, theatrical piece of music that examines humanity's destructive tendencies, whereas its predecessor, Mirrors Behind the Smoke, cranks up the volume and just hits you right in the gut.

Fortune Favours the Timeless, the aforementioned folk-infused closer, is yours and yours alone to discover. All I'll say is this…The Rise and Fall of Eternity is a truly masterful release from start to finish. Then again, I've come to expect nothing less from the ridiculous talent that is Antoin Gibson!
