Country Roots Run Deep on Gary Pratt’s Rollicking New Single Red Barn

Giving listeners a first taste of his upcoming album, Red Barn is the rich and rollicking new single from Pennsylvania-based artist Gary Pratt. Penned by hit Nashville songwriter Jason Patrick Matthews, Red Barn wastes no time sending the listener down a twangy and energetic road of foot-stomping rhythms and classic country charm. Crisply produced (thanks to the genius of Adam Ernst) with a driving tempo and one of the most infectious choruses I've ever heard, it's a tune that instantly gets stuck in your head in the best possible way.

Reflecting on how the track struck a chord with him, Gary mentions that the vivid lyrics "reminded me of the red barn on my great-grandfather's farm". He goes on to say that "the memories, the storytelling, even the Silverado mention - it all hit home".

In 2021, Pratt released his debut record in the form of Something Worth Remembering. The eleven-track offering earned critical acclaim and multiple awards, and also provided Gary with a dedicated and adoring fan base. I am proud to now call myself a member of that fan base, and simply can't wait to hear what the musician offers up next!
