Fringe Frontier Crank Up the Swagger on New Single Heartbreak Parade
It wasn't long ago that I had the privilege of reviewing a cracking little tune called Astor Place. Courtesy of Florida-based act Fringe Frontier, it was a track I proudly labelled "a wonderful blend of nostalgia, grit, and undeniable heart". It instantly wormed its way into my heart, and it's a song that has retained a place on most of my playlists ever since. Today, however, it's Astor Place's follow-up, Heartbreak Parade, that I'd like to introduce you to. Are you ready?
Driven by crunchy, searing guitars and piercing melodies, Fringe Frontier's latest offering fuses grit and melody into an irresistible anthem of late nights and lost love. As the band put it, "it's a little pop punk, a little rock, and 100% charisma". Stadium-ready and dripping with swagger and style, Heartbreak Parade is something of a sonic gut-punch that demands to be played loud.
Having dug a little deeper into Fringe Frontier's discography, they're an outfit I've found myself falling rather hard for. And, yes, I hate using the term "X Factor," but there's an undeniable magic and spark in what they're creating.
Songs from the Wirehouse is the act's forthcoming debut album, and it's an album that can't come soon enough!
