Things You Think About Is Alla Igityan’s Heartfelt Love Letter to Unspoken Feelings

"This is a personal collection of five songs about the things we often think but don't say out loud". These are the words of Alla Igityan, an Armenian-born singer/songwriter currently based in Berlin. The collection she speaks of is her brand new EP, Things You Think About, and it’s a beautifully intimate journey into the corners of the heart we’re usually too shy to expose.

Now…Cards on the table, there's a tune of Alla's I've already come to know and love, and that's track three on the EP, Better. I discovered the refreshingly unpretentious song at the beginning of this year and, truthfully, I've been looking forward to this EP for some time.

Games gets the ball rolling in a delicate and inviting fashion, before the sweetly upbeat sounds of Gay Crush come to the fore. Delightfully playful and infectious, it waltzes in with a cheeky smile.

The aforementioned Better follows Gay Crush before the EP's title track, Things You Think About, makes its appearance. Serving as the raw centrepiece of the record, it's a vulnerable and heart-on-sleeve offering that hits all the right notes.

An intimate and stripped-back version of Things You Think About wraps up the EP, completing an absolutely stunning collection that glows with tenderness and care.
