Groovy Shirt Club Bring Real Instruments and Real Soul to New Single Believe

Soulful, dynamic, and beautifully human, Believe is the laidback, guitar-driven new single courtesy of UK-based outfit Groovy Shirt Club. Signalling a sonic shift compared to their previous work, Believe introduces listeners to the softer rock textures in the band's arsenal. That said, their signature blend of melodic richness and layered harmonies remains very much intact.

Serving as the first offering from the act's forthcoming album, Hi Fi Joyride, Believe has an authenticity to it that, sadly, feels increasingly rare these days. There's no AI here, folks - all of that warmth and heart and depth you hear comes from real musicians and real instruments. No algorithms required.

A powerful statement on staying true to oneself, Groovy Shirt Club's latest release lyrically explores the importance of staying grounded when everything else feels unsteady. 

"We seem to be living in a world where it's becoming harder to distinguish what's real and what's fake," mention the band members. "If there was a time to believe in yourself and in what truly matters, it's now."

With Hi-Fi Joyride currently being mixed by engineer Jess Bailey (Seal, Paul McCartney, Simply Red), expectations for the forthcoming record are understandably high. But, if Believe is the tone-setter, I'm rather excited to hear what else they have in store!
