JB Elwood Delivers One of His Most Emotionally Charged Tracks Yet With Who We Are

As one of our most featured performers to date, Texas-based singer/songwriter JB Elwood feels more like part of the furniture around these parts than just another musician we love. His songs have, quite literally, soundtracked many of my days, so you best believe it's always a treat every time a new one arrives. And that's where Who We Are enters the picture.

Released last month, JB's latest single perfectly captures what I've come to call his "heart-on-sleeve storyteller" approach. An emotionally charged reflection on love, loss, and, in the artist's words, "the difficult truth that sometimes people share the blame when a relationship falls apart,"Who We Are is a heartbreaking little number. Painfully honest in both its lyrics and its sound, it's a tune that hits with a sincerity you simply can't ignore.

Flooded with haunting guitars, evocative bass lines, and a drum sequence that makes everything even heavier with sorrow, Who We Are is also a showcase of JB's growth and development as a guitarist. He's pushing himself creatively and exploring a side of his playing that (at least to these ears) sounds like an exciting new direction.

I'm beginning to run out of superlatives to describe JB Elwood. He's just such a pure musician - and one I shall never tire of hearing from!
