This Is My World Sees Laji George Deliver a Deeply Personal Rock Statement

This Is My World is a deeply personal track courtesy of New York City-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Laji George. Released last month, the atmospheric rock ballad is a weighty and driving piece of music. 

Described by its creator as "a declaration of personal truth and defiance," there's a raw humanness to the tune. It's vulnerable and introspective and honest - qualities that are sadly lacking in most of today's rock music. And the way it builds! From soft strings and piano to its eventual crescendo - simply magnificent!

Embedded in the DNA of This Is My World is a clear appreciation for musical geniuses like The Beatles and Chris Cornell. Masterfully crafted, profoundly intimate, and rooted in that same kind of emotional songwriting, Laji George has delivered a track that I have no doubt will stand the test of time. And at the end of the day, isn't that what it's all about?

Co-produced alongside Jonah Brockman and accompanied by an utterly beautiful music video (which we are proud to share below), This Is My World will form part of Laji's forthcoming debut album.
