Gearing up for the release of his debut album Protopia, London-based Italian composer Alessandro Inglima recently unleashed #ENT3R#7HE#V01D#, a dizzying sonic ride of acid house, psychedelic electronica, and even some video game whimsy. Performing under the moniker Komok, Alessandro's latest single is bold and slightly unpredictable, giving it an intoxicating tension that pulls you into its whirlwind of sound.

Playing out like a brief aural adventure, the tune allows itself time to build and expand. Eventually erupting into a vibrant synth-led explosion, #ENT3R#7HE#V01D# is just a pure burst of energy from start to finish. Originally a bass player, Alessandro's musical path has now led him to experimenting with sound effects and synthesisers. Taking me slightly out of my usual listening patterns, #ENT3R#7HE#V01D# has swept me up and into its hypnotic current in the best possible way. And, if I may add, his other releases aren't too shabby either! Here's to many more!
