L’ESPIRAL Cast a Spell with Elegant and Poised New Single Mr. Babylon

I'm beginning to fall extremely hard for the work of Zoë Bleu and Reggie Debris. An up-and-coming duo who perform under the moniker L'ESPIRAL, it was only last month that the Los Angeles-based pair first caught my attention. Since then, however, there's been no looking back. I've immersed myself in the duo's lush and psychedelic soundscapes, and there's no sign of coming up for air anytime soon.

Mr. Babylon is the latest offering from the talented twosome, and they've delivered the goods once again! A haunting and rich piano-led tune that builds itself up on its own time, it's a track that slowly reveals itself to the listener, luring you in with elegance and an otherworldly pull.

"A woman mourning lost love and finding that, beyond the death of a relationship, her memories live on in the dream worlds she has built inside herself" is how L'ESPIRAL describe the meaning behind Mr. Babylon. It's a poignant extension of the pair's exploration with haunted love and the invisible threads that bind us to the past, and one that is only deepening my love and adoration for their music.
