Lyndo Jaco’s Debut Single, What ya hiding, Is Thick, Fuzzy, and Completely Alive
Based in Adelaide and with three singles under his belt, Lyndo Jaco is an up-and-coming musician who describes himself as a "rock recluse tinkering away in his garage with axes and kits."
Having delivered his gritty debut single, What ya hiding, back in April, Lyndo has gone on to release two more tracks in the form of Fall and Back in time. Today, however, it's his initial release that I'd like to hone in on.
Raw and gloriously fuzzy, What ya hiding is a classic, garage-born anthem. Full of thick guitars and plenty of bite, it's a sonic punch that doesn't play by the rules - completely alive in all its distorted glory. Lyndo's vocals bleed authenticity and carry the wear of time - weathered, honest, and locked in effortlessly with the soundscape.
Channelling the spirit of old-school pub rock, but with a unique, modern edge, the artist's message is a simple one: Get your hooch on, kick back, dial in, distort."
Currently hard at work on his full-length debut album, scheduled for release early next year, Lyndo Jaco is certainly a musician you're going to want to keep a close eye (and ear on) going forward!
