Qymira Returns With Sweeping Orchestral Power on New Single Shade of My Shadow

I just need to start by saying that it is so, so good to hear from Qymira again! It's been nearly a year since the London-based artist released Melodrama, her intricate, genre-blending single that first sparked my fascination with her sound. Saying then that I couldn't wait to hear from her again, I'm thrilled to announce her return - a release that confirms good things really do come to those who wait.

Titled Shade of My Shadow, Qymira's latest offering is a cinematic and orchestral journey. It's rich and lavish and overflowing with sweeping melodies. There's a dramatic intensity that pulls you into the musician's sonic world, layer by layer, moment by moment.

Written and composed alongside the celebrated musical director Richard Taylor, Shade of My Shadow also features the aptly named Qymira Symphony Orchestra. A collective of top-tier symphony and philharmonic musicians from around the globe, they help to bring Qymira's grand visions to life.

Serving as the official theme song for the upcoming film Shadow Transit, a movie Qymira also stars in, Shade of My Shadow is a wonderful showcase of the artist's musical versatility. It's completely different to her previous single, and that's what makes her artistry so compelling and keeps me coming back for more!
