Stephanie Rodriguez Crafts a Haunting Electro-Pop Masterpiece with Facades

Facades is a first glimpse into Stephanie Rodriguez's upcoming EP, and if the London singer/songwriter and producer is leading with a track this strong, the full EP might just be one of the year’s most exciting releases. 

A haunting and highly immersive piece of dark electro-pop, Facades sucks you into Stephanie's atmospheric soundscape with layered textures and the artist's nuanced vocals. Each beat pulls you deeper into the tune's shadowy pulse, and its cinematic quality could easily soundtrack an emotionally charged movie scene.

Through her unique production process, Rodriguez went about crafting the music to Facades before thinking about the lyrical content. "I usually love to write music first before the lyrics," says the musician. "For me, music composition is like a blank canvas at first, and then you start adding all the colours".

Currently hard at work putting the finishing touches to her new EP, Stephanie Rodriguez has promised listeners a collection of songs out of the ordinary and that steer away from mainstream pop.
